Are your goals aligned with your values? If not, your 2022 resolutions are probably meaningless. In this episode J.Go helps you think about what matters most to you, why, and then how to get there.

-------------------------

- 2020 and 2021 have been filled with loss for everyone.

- J.Go's Nana passed away on Christmas Day. It's shifted how she's going into the New Year. She's taking a different approach to her goals and thinking about what matters in life.

Are your goals aligned with your values?

- 10 years ago, her goals were super general and superficial.

- When she met those goals, she didn't feel aligned. She needed to consider what she cares about and what she values.

- This past year, she's been considering the level of impact she's making on her clients and on the world. The number on the scale or the money she's making aren't what's driving her.

- She questioned every one of her life goals. Had she felt pressured to hit them to be deemed "successful"?

- A lot of the goals she'd set were ones she thought she needed to prove to people she was successful and deserves to be in the fitness space. They were ego-driven and had nothing to do with what matters to her.

- You may find that other people or society have been driving what your goals are.

-  Her 2022 resolutions were numbers focused. Being with her Nana made her realize that the numbers don't matter
