73: Trusting Your Intuition & Releasing Self-Doubt

from A Free Spirit Life · host Shannon Kinney-Düh

Welcome to Episode 73 of the A Free Spirit Life Podcast! Thank you so much for being here. I'm Shannon Kinney-Duh, your host, holistic life coach, intuitive, spiritual mentor, writer, artist, and teacher. In this episode, I want to give a special shoutout to my brother, Jeff Kinney. Many years ago, back when my now 15-year-old son was just a baby, my brother and I collaborated to create the theme song for this podcast. I initially used it for promotional purposes in my business, but it has since become the official theme song of the show. At some point, we'll record a new version of it, but I'm grateful for my brother's talent and how his music enhances the podcast.Today, I am diving into a topic that I've been observing in my coaching clients and conversations with people lately - doubt, specifically self-doubt. I've also noticed doubt creeping in when we question things we intuitively feel drawn to. As we awaken and tap into our innate gifts, many of us are starting to question the conditioning that has led us to believe we should always seek external answers and rely on outside authorities. We're realizing the importance of looking within, connecting with source, Mother Earth and our own intuition and inner authority. This shift aligns with the new 5D consciousness and heart-based living. If you're experiencing a growing curiosity about your own unique gifts or interests that you may have been conditioned to doubt, I encourage you to ask questions and stay curious. Experiment with exploring these aspects of yourself and trust your inner guidance. One practice I recommend is to regularly ask yourself, "What does my soul need most in this moment?" Tune into your heart, feel gratitude, and trust the whispers that arise. These whispers will become louder and more frequent as you clear away doubt and fear. Doubt is not necessarily a bad thing; it can be a form of curiosity. However, staying stuck in doubt and living in the past or future can block your connection to the present moment and prevent you from activating your true gifts. In a 3D world, we've been conditioned to seek external authority, but as we transition to 5D consciousness, we are called to trust ourselves, access our inner authority, and lead from the heart. Trusting your uniqueness and embracing your gifts are essential steps on this journey.Your thoughts are energy, and they affect how you feel and what you manifest in your life. If you catch yourself thinking low-vibe thoughts about yourself or others, simply acknowledge them and choose not to engage with them. Replace them with high-vibe thoughts that align with love, self-acceptance, and abundance.Remember, you are a co-creator of your life, and source is there to support you. Instead of trying to fix the people in your life, trust source to handle it. Treat yourself and others with compassion and set healthy boundaries.Thank you for joining me on this episode. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
