8. How To Improve Your Mental Health To Be A Better Mama

from Mother of Fawn · host Audrey Nguyen

Hi Mama,  In today's episode I'm sharing 10 tips on how to improve your mental health in order to be a better mama to your baby! It took me 15 months to really realize the importance of taking care of my own mental health in order to be a good mama. Instead of baby comes first we have to remember that mama comes first so that mama can take care of baby. These are the things I started doing on a regular basis so that way I could start healing myself mentally and lead a happier lifestyle which would ultimately help me to be a better mom. 1. Journaling  2. Audio diaries  3. Self care to-do list  4. Slowing down & listening to my body/heart 5. Getting outside  6. Creating a routine  7. Therapy  8. Realizing that the only person I can control is myself  9. Exercising  10. Realizing that social media DOES NOT MATTER when it comes to my true happiness  I hope this episode gives you some ideas on ways you can make small changes to your life in order to free up your mental load, brighten your days, and in turn become a better mama to your baby!  If you have questions about anything I shared today or just want to share your personal tips, experiences and stories, find me on Instagram @motheroffawn or send me an email to [email protected].  Take care and stay well, mama. xo Audrey  Mother of Fawn
