What if the discomfort you feel isn’t a sign that something is broken, but simply proof that you’re human?

In this deeply honest and expansive conversation, Tenya sits down with Dr. Fred Moss, psychiatrist, author, and founder of the Welcome to Humanity movement, to explore one of the most radical ideas in mental health today, that there may actually be nothing wrong with you.

Dr. Fred shares his unconventional journey through psychiatry, why he stepped away from diagnosing and medicating people, and how modern mental health has conditioned us to believe discomfort equals defect. Together, they unpack how early conditioning teaches us to disconnect from our true voice, why so many people are afraid to feel their feelings, and how labels can quietly strip us of responsibility, power, and choice.

This episode is a real, human conversation about anxiety, depression, rumination, identity, and what it actually means to live authentically. You’ll hear reflections on trauma without bypassing it, the danger of outsourcing your inner authority, and why being human was never meant to be easy, but it was always meant to be meaningful.

You’ll also hear Dr. Fred introduce his philosophy as “The Undoctor,” his belief in undiagnosing, unmedicating, and undoctrinating ourselves, and how simple, accessible self-care practices can radically shift how we experience life.

If you’ve ever wondered why you feel the way you do, questioned whether you’re broken, or felt exhausted by trying to fix yourself, this conversation may feel like coming home.

Key themes explored in this episode include redefining mental health, reclaiming personal agency, learning to tolerate discomfort, reconnecting with your true voice, and remembering that your lived experience has value, not pathology.

Tune in to hear the stories and inspirations behind a new round of artist interpretations of the House’s iconic Lady Dior bag. An iconic object of desire with an extraordinary destiny that continues to be shaped by concepts and events forever transcending the boundaries of innovation andinventiveness. Thus, since 2016, for the Dior Lady Art project, the house has given international artists carte blanche to revisit this exceptional bag, which is thentransformed into a dream canvas onto which they transpose their vision, their universe, their singularity. For this ninth edition, Sara Flores, Jeffrey Gibson, Huang Yuxing, Liang Yuanwei, Danielle Mckinney, Duy Anh Nhan Duc, Hayal Pozanti, Faith Ringgold, Vaughn Spann, AnnaWeyant and Woo Kukwon each take their turn in appropriating the Lady Dior as a fascinating emblem of poetic metamorphosis. An alchemical combination of Dior’s herit Metamorphosis or The Golden Ass by Lucius Apuleius (c. 125 - 180) LibriVox The Metamorphosis, also known as The Golden Ass, is one of the very few novels of the Ancient World that survived to our days; one of the two novels of Roman Literature that we can still read; and the only one preserved in its entirety (the other one being the extremely fragmentary Satyricon). The story of the Metamorphosis, the tale of a man turned into a donkey that goes through many adventures to become a man again, inspired many other similar ones later on. However, more than just the plot, the style of the Golden Ass also made it famous. Considered one of the precursors of the picaresque novel, The Metamorphosis was written in a language that can be humorous and energetic, while telling the misadventures of the credulous and curious main character, but also powerfully poetic, in moments such as in the episode of Cupid and Psyche, one of the most famous parts of this book, and of Latin literature as a whole.
