On this episode of the podcast, I’m having another push conversation, this time with our Senior Client Relations Manager and Business Development Lead, Sara Schlipp-Reidel. Sara and I have worked together quite a bit over the past year, and while the extent of the conflict between us is limited to where we get coffee before an engagement, we're no strangers to helping clients navigate any number of difficult situations.

Today on the podcast, you'll get to hear Sara, and I wrestle with how our Strengths help us navigate the often eerie but inevitable waters of conflict. You'll hear us grapple with the idea of relational capital, and how it helps of hinders the conflict process. We'll also talk about how to know when to engage conflict, and what to do if we notice our Strengths harming rather than helping move through conflict. We also talk quite a bit about knowing what your gut reaction is to conflict and what to do with those feelings, and how to direct that response to be one rooted in Strength.

Riold Furtuna After several positions and experiences I have become fascinated with the question: how can leaders start out on the right foot? In order to getting closer to answering this question, I set up the podcast series “inspire me!”. On each episode I interview leaders that have had and continue to have a great impact on society and have, directly or indirectly, inspired me and influenced my personal and professional choices. While we discuss the main topic of leadership, on each episode we’ll focus on subtopics, such as self-awareness, emotional intelligence, compassion, integrity, and persistence, to mention a few. My vision is to tap into the experience of these leaders and ultimately provide young and emerging leaders a compass for maximizing the impact we have in the world while being uncompromisingly ethical.
