Aflevering 10 is er! En wat een start van het GOF-najaar: Miwako van Weyenberg schuift bij ons aan om te praten over haar film en maakproces van Soft Leaves.Girls On Film is een feministisch filmcollectief dat vrouwen voor en achter de camera centraal wilt zetten. Wij bieden filmvertoningen met inleiding door relevante gastsprekers, en plaatsen een schijnwerper op vrouwen en gender in cinema en daarbuiten.  Op 9 september 2025 vertoonden we Soft Leaves van Miwako van Weyenberg, de scenarist en regisseur van de film.  Soft Leaves (2025) is een intieme en visueel poëtische film die de stilte tussen mensen tastbaar maakt. Van Weyenberg eemt ons mee in het leven van een Belgisch-Japans gezin. De film begint wanneer de 11-jarige Yuna en haar Vlaamse vader zich klaarmaken voor een kampeertrip. Maar aan de vooravond van hun vertrek gebeurt er iets wat hun leven overhoop haalt.
