#artificialintelligence #customer Raviteja (Ravi) Dodda is the co-founder and CEO of MoEngage, an insights-led customer engagement platform built for customer-obsessed marketers and product owners. He is an entrepreneur, a technologist, and a storyteller in that order. An alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur, Ravi has more than ten years of experience in leading global teams and managing successful products.  In college, he experimented with a small-scale startup in the SMS marketing space, which didn’t last, then he set up a second venture Pipal Tech Ventures in 2011. Launched a location-based coupon targeting app SaveZippy, formerly called Delight Circle, but had to shut this venture due to lack of growth capital. With two failed startups behind him, Ravi set up MoEngage in 2014. Being incubated in an accelerator, called Alchemist, provided a platform to fine-tune the idea, try different iterations of the product and experiment with it. Ravi is passionate about mentoring early-stage founders who face challenges like he did. He has started free Office Hours for them and hosts them on Saturdays so he can mentor them with advice and guidance. It’s a way for him to give back to the community and follow in the footsteps of the people who have helped him in his initial days. If every founder of a growing or established company can spare a few hours, it can unlock many more successful businesses and teams.
