Ask Uncut - the not so purrrfect Met Gala

from Life Uncut · host LiSTNR

Hey Lifers, Welcome back to your weekly therapy session! This week we're kicking things off with a bit of an in house debate and it's farshun honey! Look it up!Speaking of fashion, we're unpacking whether you can separate someone's legacy and the art that they've created from who they are as a person. Can you celebrate someone who has made a huge impact on the world despite not agreeing with their controversial views?   Vibes this week:Laura: L'Oreal Paris Paradise Mascara Intense Black here Britt: Great lengths hair extensions here Keeshia: Podcast episode of The Daily - The ballad of deepfake Drake here Then we jump into your questions: -Have a question for all your dog owners out there. How many of you let your dog sleep on your bed? If so, how do you have sex (solo or with a partner)? Is it a bit of a mood killer having to stop, lock your dog outside, listen to it cry for being locked out, do your thing then let it back in the bed? -Would you date someone with the same name as your sibling or dad? I previously dated a guy with the same name as my brother. I met a guy out on the weekend and we had the most amazing time together but I don’t think I can take it further simply because he has the same name as my dad... Is this robbing myself of my time with someone who could be a potential partner or is it too weird?  -I am 19 years of age and I currently work in childcare full time. My workplace is all females, who are majority mums. I work in the same room as this 37 year old who acts like she’s in high school. She gossips, bags and talks shit about other workers and loves to be overly overpowering in the workplace. Me being the overthinking person I am, I’m constantly worried she’s talking shit and it’s affecting my confidence in my ability at work. I feel so much toxicity in my workplace but I can't financially take the risk and leave. What should I do?
