Bertus aka as Bert is the Founder of the award-winning fitness franchise BODY20 and CEO and President of JETSET Pilates.

Bertus has over 14 years in the health & fitness domain.  His expertise lies in brand and business development, underpinned by a passion for cultivating a leadership-centric environment. His journey in entrepreneurship began at age 19 while majoring in Biochemistry, Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa.

Bert is passionate about fitness and entrepreneurship, striving to identify potential and add value to entrepreneurs and business projects.  He has spearheaded its expansion across seven international territories since its inception in 2013.  Over the past decade, he has been instrumental in shaping multiple franchise businesses across diverse service industries globally.

For the last two years at JETSET Pilates, has been at the forefront of reimagining the modern pilates experience. His leadership has driven the brand’s rapid growth to over 60 locations, focusing on innovation, franchisee support, and operational excellence.

He spearheaded the development of a robust franchise system. In doing so by ensuring that each location embodies the brand’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. By leveraging his experience in franchising, he has implemented strategic initiatives that have significantly enhanced their market presence and franchisee success.

Their mission is to change the way that people workout by helping EVERY. BODY. UNLEASH their super human potential to strengthen their body and their life through time condensed technology training. In just 20 minutes per week, their goal is to materially impact the other 10,060 minutes in the week.
