My special guest today is Beth Herzhaft. My friend. And she happens to be a very famous photographer. She takes us behind the lens to see her art through her eyes. Beth got her first break in the business by sneaking into the art dept at Capitol Records. She ran headlong into the head of the art department and somehow persuaded him to look at her newbie portfolio. It must have been good - It resulted in her getting her first album cover for Capitol (photographing rapper Schooly-D) Now, Beth’s clients include Warner Bros, Sony Music, Interscope, Billboard, and once upon a time, Lucques. She has shot many of the world's biggest music artists. We look at her 90's Vintage LA Streets photos together and Beth tells each story.
