Jurista 'acidental', que nunca quis percorrer os labirintos das leis e dos tribunais, Raquel Ochoa cedo abriu o seu mundo, não apenas percorrendo Mundo (e mostrando-o através de livros de viagens), mas abrindo o mundo dos outros, através de (já vários) romances que mostram, mais do que História e estórias, como foi sendo a presença portuguesa nos quatro cantos da Terra & Mar. Uma conversa descontraída com uma escritora que se estreou na ficção ainda antes dos 30 anos, com 'Casa-Comboio' (Prémio Revelação Agustina Bessa-Luís 2009), e que acaba de lançar novo romance ('Coração-Castelo'). De entre as obras patentes na BIBLIOTECA DO PÁGINA UM, Raquel Ochoa escolheu, para sugerir a leitura, o romance 'O Bobo, de Alexandre Herculano (um original publicado em fascículos na revista Panorama em 1843 e ampliado em volume numa edição póstuma em 1878) e também 'O Instituto Supremo', de Ferreira de Castro, publicado em 1968.
