Boy Gives Back Big Catch Hi everyone! Do you like fishing?你喜歡釣魚嗎? Connor likes fishing. He’s 13 years old. This summer, Connor and his dad went to a big lake. They fished from a boat. Connor caught something. But he didn’t catch a fish. He caught a wallet. It had a lot of money in it! 這個夏天,13歲的Connor跟他的爸爸去釣魚,但是他沒有釣到魚,卻釣到了一個錢包。 How much money was in the wallet? There was about 2,000 US dollars. That’s almost 65,000 Taiwan dollars! 錢包裡面有多少錢呢? 居然有將近6萬5千塊台幣。 What did Connor do with the money? Did he keep it? Did he buy something big? No. Connor is honest. Connor found a card in the wallet. The card had a man’s name and phone number on it. The man’s name was Jim. Connor phoned Jim. Connor很誠實,他在錢包裡找到主人的名字跟電話,並且打電話給他。 Jim was happy. One year ago, he went fishing and lost the wallet. Jim wanted to give Connor money to thank him. 錢包的主人Jim很開心,一年前他去釣魚的時候弄丟了。他想要拿錢給Connor表示感謝。 But Connor said no. He didn’t want any money. Wow! Connor is a very nice boy. Jim thinks that too. 但是Connor不想要錢。他真是一個好孩子。 Connor found a lot of money. He gave it back to Jim. If you find money, what will you do?
