Change of plea hearing set this week for former judge

A former Box Elder County judge is scheduled to return to court this week for a hearing that could resolve one of two criminal cases stemming from a child exploitation investigation. Kevin Robert Christensen, 65, is set to appear April 9 in Weber County’s 2nd District Court in Ogden for a change of plea hearing, less than two months before a jury trial was scheduled to begin. Christensen, who previously served as a justice court judge for several jurisdictions in Box Elder County, is charged with multiple felonies, including enticing a minor and attempted aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor....
