Thank you Chip Schulte for joining me on The Born To Talk Radio Show Podcast.

Meet Chip Schulte.

Chip Schulte is the Founder & President of Beach Cities Volleyball.   Chip has an extensive sports background as a player in his youth through his college experiences. As an adult, from 1988-1999 he was an active coach of youth basketball, baseball & soccer. In 2000 Chip became the Founder and President of Beach Cities Volleyball.

Beach Cities Volleyball.

Since its inception in 2000, Beach Cities Volleyball has been teaching youth and young adults in Southern California how to improve their life skills through volleyball. The Mission Statement of Beach Cities Volleyball is to “Teach life skills and volleyball skills to athletes 8 to 18 years of age.”

Their priorities are to have fun. They teach volleyball skills, and act as positive role models. Their beginning players become Intermediate players. Their Intermediate players become Advanced players.  And, their Advanced players have strong opportunities for a future that includes college volleyball careers.

Chip’s Takeaways.

“Every child, can use positive elements in their life. Beach Cities Volleyball works hard to be a positive element in our players’ lives. Every adult has a gift they can transmit positivity to children, if they are willing to. Our gift is sports & specifically volleyball. The love of art, music, poetry and countless other gifts exists. Working toward such an endeavor is a win-win-win. The young person wins, society wins, and your life will be fuller and happier as a result.”

In Closing.

Beach Cities Volleyball fields very competitive teams.  They do not create undue pressure on its teams by talking about a “commitment to winning.” This program boasts some of the most talent young people in the South Bay. With hard work, commitment, and perseverance, they have made a name for Beach Cities Volleyball.
