Christ Oil

I stumbled upon an incredible book called Book of Wisdom (Volume 1) by Harry B. Joseph. After reading only 2 pages, I felt that a song was brewing. Most of the lyrics for this song come from page 2 of this book, under a section titled “Oil Process.” You can find the music video to the song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1ToYM7_jbw This is my first attempt at creating a song inspired directly by a book. The style could be described as psychedelic rock with a touch of stoner vibes. When I recorded the vocals, I was literally reading straight from the book as I sang.
