Colossians 1:18-20 - Jesus is the Answer!

Today, Friday May 21 Jesus is the Answer! Colossians 1:18-20 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. I know it might sound trite and so simplistic, but honestly with all my heart, I really believe that Jesus is the answer! Jesus is the answer to every issue, every need, every challenge, every broken relationship, every hurting heart and every problem on planet earth and in the universe, for that matter! You might ask, how can that be? By saying Jesus is the answer, I mean, that in Jesus you will find the wisdom, the strength, the courage, the faith, the understanding, the comfort, the healing, the power, the guidance and through Jesus you can experience His peace, His joy, His hope for whatever you might be facing in your life today. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)  You will notice in the verses before us today in Colossians 1 that repetition of the pronouns connected to Jesus. “He is the head….” “He is the beginning…” “That in everything He might be preeminent…” “For in Him all the fullness of God…” “Through Himto reconcile to Himself all things…” Making peace by the blood of Hiscross.” My friend, Jesus loves us so much that He became flesh to go to a cross and suffer the eternal punishment for our sins and now we can make peace with God and be reconciled, recovered, redeemed, and restored back to a relationship with God! Everything you really need, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally can be found in Jesus Christ. And it all is available by simple faith, trust and obedience to Him and His Word! Come to Jesus today!!! Listen to Jesus today!!! Today, surrender your heart, your mind, your soul, your life to Jesus and you will find that you are “complete in Him.” “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” (Colossians 2:9-10) Jesus is the Answer because everything is in Him and through Him.
