Linguistics and Activist Cátia Severino co-curated the new exhibition in the Dynamic Memory Lab »Cycles of Decolonisation«, which opens this Saturday, March 15th, at 4 p.m. at Villa Elisabeth in Berlin. »Cycles of Decolonisation« invites its visitors to engage with a central topic of our remembrance culture: European colonial history and decolonisation. In an immersive experience, visitors will be confronted with the legacy of European colonialism and its contemporary manifestations. The exhibition places a special focus on the structures of dehumanisation that remain effective in the present. The exhibition seeks to dismantle the invisibility associated with dehumanisation and places the human aspect at the centre of our attention.Further details about the opening of »Cycles of Decolonisation«: https://cppdnetwork.com/en/veranstaltung/5413/ Opening Times of the DMLMarch 16 – 22, 202510 AM – 6 PM ***In ERINNERUNGSFUTUR, scholars, artists, intellectuals, and activists share their work and perspectives on cultures of remembrance in Germany and Europe.
