This will be a short recap of CW’S Kung Fu Season 2 that is currently on Max. In the end of Season 1, the other villain besides Zhilan is Russell Tan. Russell Tan is an evil billionaire. How ironic to have the villain of Season 2 be an evil billionaire. I can name one here, think of Elon Musk. He bought the 2024 election in the United States of America for Donald Trump. Russel Tan like Elon Musk is evil and built a lot of wealth. Russell Tan is after Mia, who ends up being Nikki Shen’s cousin. Dennis Soong at the end of Season 1 learned from Althea, his wife that Nikki Shen is a warrior and that power that she has given her an edge over those that do not have it. Rusell Tan will have help from Juliette Tan who is his daughter. Russell Tan wants to find a magical bell and it feels his plan is to destroy San Francisco, but it is deeper than that.Mia will not trust Niki Shen and her family, but she realizes that she must. Ryan, Nikki Shen’s brother, is not dating Joe in this season. Joe left to go to Chicago in the 1st season and Ryan Shen is now dating Sebastin who is ironically working for his mother Mie-Lin Shen at Harmony Dumplings as a chef. Ryan is a doctor who works at the Chinese community center to help give patients that do not have a lot of money healthcare.Nikki Shen will get help from Henry Yan. Henry Yan will learn that his father is part of a group. What is the name of that group? Please leave your answer in the comment section below.Evan Hartley is no longer getting married and is single again. Nadia who works in the DA’s office is helping him rut out corruption. The DA is in the pocket of Russell Tan as they both find out. There is something deeper going on between Evan and Nadia.Jin Shin, Nikki Shen’s father decides to help his friend run his art gallery as that was his passion instead of running Harmony Dumplings and his wife will keep running it. His art ability will be helpful in fighting Russell Tan.Keerwin Tan wants to make his father pay for what he has done. He tries to help Nikki Shen, Henry Yan, and Ryan Tan along with Althea Shen Soong. They destroy the bell, but Juliette Tan is helping her father construct another bell.The story makes the viewer believe that Russell Tan only wants to destroy San Francisco, but there is more to play here. Zhilan ends up breaking out of the women’s prison that she was at and like Keerwin Tan, she wants to make Russell Tan pay. Mia also lost her mother to Russell Tan as he shot and killed her mother.
