Tidligere på måneden blev foreningen Digital Uafhængighed grundlagt. Det er en forening, der skal arbejde for, at Danmark og Europa gør sig mere uafhængig af amerikanske og kinesiske techgiganter og for, at vi i højere grad kan stå på egne ben ved at udvikle nye digitale løsninger og i stigende grad anvende open source-produkter. Men hvorfor er det overhovedet nødvendigt, og hvordan har digital suverænitet med forsvar og sikkerhed at gøre? Det diskuterer vi i dette afsnit, hvor vi har besøg af initiativtager til Digital Uafhængighed, erhvervsmanden Henrik Paltoft. Han fortæller om baggrunden for stiftelsen og er flankeret af politisk kommentator Jarl Cordua, der selv er aktiv i foreningen og, ligesom Henrik Paltoft, ivrig fortaler for europæisk selvbestemmelse inden for alt fra våbensystemer til mobiltelefoni og sociale medier.
