Dave Pishkur, Head Coach, Andrean High School

Next up on the ABCA Podcast is Andrean High School head coach, Dave Pishkur. Pishkur started teaching at Andrean in 1977. Since then, he has built a powerhouse program in Northern Indiana. Pishkur has over 1000 wins and is now tied with Lafayette Central Catholic and ABCA member Tim Bordenet with 8 Indiana State Championships. Pishkur is a great example of persistence as it took him 25 years to win his first state championship. Pishkur has also found a way to stay current in his coaching with Andrean baseball having HitTrax, KVest and IPitch. In this episode we cover how to win a championship, developing high school athletes, blending new and old coaching techniques and Andrean baseball’s pillars for their program.
