'One of the creators of Ukrainian Nazism' reburied in Kiev

Ukraine has received the remains of Andrei Melnyk, a controversial nationalist figure accused of collaborating with Nazi Germany, for reburial in Kiev’s so-called pantheon of prominent Ukrainians.Holocaust historian Gideon Greif and Polish political figure Krzysztof Tołwiński strongly condemned the move, calling it a disgrace and an insult to the memory of victims of Nazi ideology. The guests argue that honoring figures linked to fascism and wartime atrocities deepens historical wounds and raises serious questions about Kiev’s political direction.
