Das Parteiprogramm der CDU ist mittlerweile 16 Jahre alt. Am heutigen Samstag setzt die Partei nun im Konrad-Adenauer-Haus die Arbeit an ihren grundsätzlichen Leitlinien für die kommenden Jahre fort. Das Treffen in Berlin findet zu einer Zeit statt, in der die CDU auf Selbstsuche ist: Innerhalb der Partei dominiert momentan die Frage, warum sie es – anders als die AfD – derzeit nicht schafft, von der Krise der Ampel zu profitieren. Welche Rolle die Debatte beim Zusammentreffen im Adenauer-Haus spielt, erklärt CDU-Experte Ferdinand Otto aus dem Politikressort von ZEIT ONLINE. Das weltweit größte Sportevent für Menschen mit geistiger oder Mehrfachbehinderung beginnt am Wochenende mit einer großen Eröffnungsfeier in Berlin. Bei den Special Olympics World Games werden rund 7.000 Athletinnen und Athleten aus 190 Ländern in Berlin gegeneinander antreten, unter ihnen 413 deutsche Sportler und Sportlerinnen.
