Her name is Brooke H and she is going to be dropping some truth bombs and share some of her story with us. Brooke is the mother of 3 boys. She has been a mom since she was 19. But as the oldest child of a single working mom, she shared parenting responsibilities since she was 8. She values personal growth and is proud of her grit. Fell into Dental out of necessity and worked her way up to managing a successful practice. At 42 she is finally learning to prioritize herself by slowing down and figuring out er wants and needs. Here is some of what we chat about:*A little background of who Brooke is and what her life kind of looks like now. Talks about when she became a mom and how the challenges got her to her job today. Gives a great picture on what has happened in the last 4 years and how she has shifted to make things work for her job and her home life. Some reflection on what it was like in 2020 to what her life looks like now in 2023 with morning routine, with her kiddos and job at home. Chatted about priorities on what they were a couple of years ago to how that is shifted to now. Or when she was a kid what she dreamed about and what she thought would be the pinnacle of her life and then when she got there what happened. Talking about how important it is to slow down and take notice what is happening with you. Got into time and making choices and seeing those choices that she thought were not there before. The importance of looking back to see how far you have come from where you have started to show you how far you have come and what you have accomplished. Then celebrate the wins.Dove into more of what her mom hood looks like and how early her mom hood began and her journey through all of her responsibilities through having her own kiddo at 19.She also shared how it became a big focus for her to not repeat the cycle of what she saw when she was little. And how she was working on changing things and doing it on her own. Independence can work really great until it doesn’t.
