For over 10 years, Opelika Police Department diligently searched for the identity of Baby Jane Doe, whose remains were discovered behind an Opelika mobile home park in 2012.  On Thursday 1/19/23, OPD announced they finally had a name - Amore Joveah Wiggins.  Not only did they have her name, with the help of many forensics teams and detectives, they’d also located her biological parents in two different states. View the Opelika Police Department Press Release. ______ 20-year-old Rickem Samuel was last seen on April 2, 2016, getting into a black 4-door Nissan Versa at the Eastern Boulevard Walmart with two of his coworkers from Hyundai Glovis. On June 30, 2016, Rickem's body was located in the 300 block of South Hopper Street.  His cause of death has been classified as undetermined, but it is considered a homicide.   Listen to Ericka's Missing Our Voice interview. Watch Ericka's CrimeDoor TV interview (CrimeDoor TV is available on Roku and Tubi) ______ 51-year-old Nanette Thomas vanished from Montgomery just six days after Rickem Samuel in 2016.  Nanette was Rickem’s team lead at Glovis and had met with his mother assist with the search for Rickem just days before her disappearance.  Since Nanette was reported missing on Friday, April 8, 2016, very few details have been released, however, Montgomery Police Department have stated they do not feel the two cases are connected. To date, Nanette continues to be listed in the ALEA database as an active missing person.
