Ep. 226: Alma 48:1-25 Shake Hell

Summary

Amalickiah, having obtained the kingdom of the Lamanites through fraud and deceit, stirs up the hearts of the Lamanites against the Nephites and prepares for war. Meanwhile, Moroni strengthens the Nephite armies and fortifies their lands in preparation for the impending conflict. Moroni is described as a strong and mighty man, a man of perfect understanding, who does not delight in bloodshed but in the liberty and freedom of his country. The Nephites are taught to defend themselves and are promised prosperity if they keep the commandments. The chapter ends with the assertion that if all men were like Moroni, the powers of hell would be shaken forever.
