If you have an apple tree but decide you don’t like apples anymore, you wouldn’t just paint the apples orange to change them, right? Yet, when we want to experience something different, we often invest all our energy in changing the external world and never address the seeds that grew the apples in the first place. This approach is why we sometimes cannot sustain a desired reality in the long run. We were taught that change happens in this order: 1. Environment/Results 2. Behaviors 3. Capabilities 4. Values/Beliefs 5. Identity 6. Spirit Well, actually… it works the other way around!
