The National’s Matt Berninger loves his family – so much so his first solo album, Serpentine Prison, is dedicated to his dad. It’s produced by the legendary Booker T. Jones and the story goes back to his father’s record collection, and, more recently, a classic argumentative Christmas family get-together.
