You've heard of goals and goal setting but how do you learn how to reach those goals? Do you break them down into yearly goals? Monthly goals? How do you know how to motivate yourself? I sit down with Lupe Prado, a business and life coach who walks us through tools and the deeper meaning behind setting goals. She shares that a lot of the time it isn't the goal itself that we're after, and more so the person we become when we achieve that goal. If you're looking to create some goals for yourself and need structure and tips, this episode is for you! Flower Garden: A Handbook of Practical Garden Lore, The by Ida Dandridge Bennett (1860 - 1925) LibriVox This book is a good reference on the perennial flower gardening and landscaping. It contains information on growing the plants from seed and explains how to grow and care for the traditional garden flowering plants, bulbs, trees, and shrubs. There are sections covering all aspects of ornamental gardens including water gardens and caring for house plants in the winter. The author has lots of unexpected but good advice in her chapter of Don’ts, for example: “ Don’t supply with cut flowers, plants and the like, people who spend more money for unnecessary luxuries than you do for your whole garden, and then tell you how foolish you are to spend so much time and money, and work so hard for your flowers.” As this shows, the author is at times as colorful as the flowers in this informative book (Summary by A.L. In each episode, we tell a story with lessons we have learned and discuss in further detail the advice and wisdom we gained throughout this experience. These stories and motifs are important for the world to know, especially young adults. Hey, we're still young! We have time to learn, understand, and grow. Our life is a journey; we're only just getting started. Now let's just talk and tell some life stories.-R. Maria Help From A Hypocrite with Joey Dardano Authentic Podcast Network Hey! I’m Joey Dardano, a fun-lovin’, middle-child seeking validation on yet another platform! Help From A Hyprocrite is a beautiful mix of two things I wanted out of starting a podcast: To interview my friends, and to give solicited advice. When the guests and I tell a story or offer any advice, however, we have to own up to how we ourselves still struggle to learn and grow ourselves! I feel the biggest problem with many talking heads and advice shows out there is the fact that everyone sounds so 100% certain of the advice they’re giving, and everyone but you sounds like a genius whose got it all figured out. On Help From A Hypocrite, we’ll not only help you out, but also make you feel just a little bit less alone in your struggle. Come laugh with me and my friends, and hopefully learn something along the way.
