Episode 119: Schools are dramatically more violent. Why??? (Wed., Oct. 11, 2023)

from Let's Fix Education / by Bruce Deitrick Price · host Bruce Deitrick Price

The public schools are a hell hole. Do you think the experts don't know what they're doing?Oh, they know. They know from A-to-Z that everything they do encourages bullying and bad manners, degrades authority, dumbs down the students, and makes everybody's day miserable. They are dangerous, these so-called experts. Most people who have been  to ed school should be fired. Bring in new people from sports, entertainment, business, and the military,  practical people who  care about the culture and the children.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------VIOLENCE  VIOLENCE VIOLENCEOur Education Establishment follows the teachings of the great  communist thinkers. The basic idea is to teach as little as possible to the peasants. “If you can cut the people off from their history, then they can be easily persuaded.— Karl Marx“Give me your four year olds, and in a generation I will build a socialist state.”   Lenin“We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion, and scorn toward those who disagree with us.” Lenin  (Oh, so that's why CNN had to rag on Trump.)VIOLENT VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2B8yRx5_mU(TRANSCRIPT  HAS GOOD VIDEO ABOUT EFFECTS OF VIOLENCE, 6 MINUTES)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Episode 118 : ENCORE  https://www.buzzsprout.com/1792553/episodes/13712120Reports on the fall of Lucy Calkins. This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
