Episode 186: The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

from Easy Bake Coven

Send a textDo you hear that coven? It's the gales of November. And we know from the beautiful poetry of Gordon Lightfoot's musical storytelling that the gales are indeed bad news, especially when they arrive early. If you haven't yet guessed it, this week we are covering the tragic tale of the Edmund Fitzgerald. On November 9th, 1975, the great lakes freighter left Wisconsin bound for a steel mill near Detroit, but she would never see her destination. This week, on the 50th anniversary of the tragedy, we'll cover her ill-fated journey. We'll also share some good news and end the episode with a multitude of good things. Join us as we travel back in time and dig a little deeper into this very powerful story. Happy Haunting! Support the showGet in touch! 20 Something W/ Aidan Steinbach aidan.steinbach My name is Aidan Steinbach and I am a 20 something year-old kid. I just moved to a new city, to start a new job, with new people… And I have no idea what I’m doing. There’s a huge pressure to know exactly what you’re doing and the exact trajectory that your life is on… But it’s completely unrealistic. And with social media, it can be so easy to feel behind people, because everyone else’s life looks so perfect. So I wanted to offer a genuinely transparent look into what a 20 something-year-old’s life in a new city looks like.
