Episode 19 - 2025 OC Riptide 2nd Episode

Welcome back to the Rip Current Podcast, where host Andrew Giesler talks with fellow broadcasters Sam Evans, Huon Fitzpatrick, and Aidan Pham about all things related to the California Collegiate baseball team, the OC Riptide. In the second episode of the series, the group goes through the games from the past week against the Foresters, Nighthawks, Oaks, Blues, and Bombers, specifically focusing on the game against the Bombers in which interim head coach Grant Mayeaux and first baseman Grant MacArthur were both ejected. We also highlight those that came up to the broadcasting booth during the 6th inning for the food reviews such as pitchers Nate Helman and Tommy McGuire, and catchers Zach Crandall and Jimmy Zakhar. Finally, the group wraps things up with a preview for next week including promotions at Great Park on Tuesday and Sunday, their all time favorite baseball movies and of course the player of the week. Have a happy Tuesday and go ‘Tide!
