The Visionary Philanthropist Julius Rosenwald (1862 to 1932) was a co-owner and executive at Sears, Roebuck and Company. A visionary American businessman and philanthropist, he established the Rosenwald Fund to promote vocational or technical education. He helped to co- finance construction of 5,357 schools in 15 southern states between 1912 and 1932.
