Episode 40 - Curiosity and Community Cures with Guest Adele Wang

from The From Burnout to Recovery Show with Dr. Kate: Your Journey to Recovery Burnout Starts Here · host Transformation Talk Radio

Episode 40 brings us Adele Wang talking about how she grew up in a culture of just being successful created a lifestyle of chronic burnout.  Her burnout truly came from a place of disconnection. Feeling lonely in the middle of a crowd.  And how sometimes you need to stop looking for how to relieve the burnout, which is just a bandaid. Instead you need to recognize the source of the burnout so that you can reignite it and come back to living.   Because we live in a culture of self sufficiency, people are burning out because they lack community. We need people to sit with us in the dark and just lament alongside us and not immediately jump into solutions to the heartache. Burnout is a lot about the “I don’t know” and “I’m really scared”. Resolution isn’t always about making major life changes and instead sitting in the curiosity of what’s really going on in the heart and mind and body.    Look for community. If the problem is loneliness and isolation, then how do you solve that on your own?   Adele is a leading mentor for professionals struggling with stress and craving lives of more purpose, meaning, and connection.    As a spiritual teacher, speaker, and energy healer, she has helped hundreds of leaders around the world reduce anxiety and attract more fulfilling careers and relationships.    She is a frequent speaker on consciousness, business psychology, and personal development. As the host of the “All Things Human” podcast, Adele is the only wisdom teacher who combines the power of storytelling with mindset, embodiment, and spiritual practices to help people create success at a time when there’s more change and uncertainty than ever. For more information, visit www.safehavenhealing.net.     She has an MS in Industrial Relations and a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her family, a puppy, and two cats.     Our Recovery Moment in this show is focused on making healthy eating choices.   If you enjoyed this show make sure to subscribe and leave a review.  Ready to start your own journey to Burnout Recovery?
