Welcome to Ep.40 where we talk to Emily Bathgate, Founder of The Purist Collection, a naturopathy and organic skin care business. It was a personal health event that motivated Emily to specialise in giving people help with their health, and a range of natural, organic skin care and home products that are pure and safe for everyone. Visit The Purist Collection Find more Shopify content here This Shopify interview will be valuable if you're in the skincare, health and beauty sector and want to hear stories of personal motivation, and the creation of products that are designed to be completely healthy for human skin. Emily also talks about the challenges of starting up a business, and running a consultancy, as well as an ecommerce store. As the name suggests, The Purist Collection is all about skin care products that are inspired by nature and natural therapies, and created from pure, safe organic ingredients. For people who are looking for chemical-free products that really care for your skin, and give a luxury experience too, The Purist Collection has therapeutic products for body, mind and soul. Emily was inspired to start The Purist Collection when her mum fell ill. Inspired by a need to help her mum, and to protect her own future, Emily started investigating the ingredients in typical skin care. She realised that we cover ourselves with chemicals every day, and that many of those chemicals end up in our bodies. Emily decided to start developing safe, organic alternatives that actually work, thanks to her specialisation in health science and naturopathy. The story of The Purist Collection is all about a personal motivation that drove investigation and knowledge that combined with Emily’s health vocation to create a range of beautiful and effective products for bodies and homes. Big thanks from us to Emily, Founder of The Purist Collection, for sharing her business story on The Shopify Dropify.
