Sold as "Amaretto di Saronno"1942 - A squared bottle is used1947 - ILLVA, the parent company of Disaronno is formed, entirely owned by the Reina family1960s - Disaronno is exported to the USA and finds a receptive market1971 - The bespoke bottle is created by glass artisans in Murano, Italy 2001 - The name is officially changed to "Disaronno Originale", relegating amaretto to the back label2009 - A label update is madeKey Cocktails:Disaronno is great on it's own or on ice, but mixes well.
