Previously: The gang ran into some trouble on their way to deliver Mateo - namely, an angry mob led by a mage who wanted Roarke, dead or alive. Tabitha shot from behind, Roarke charged in headfirst, Zara sprouted her wings, and Frank flung some fireballs.

In this episode: Our charred chums are more than a little worse for wear after that battle, and so are their hostage and escorts. If not for the Bakers, they might have been toast! But if Mateo or any of the guards are damaged beyond repair, Florentine has made it pretty clear that he will not be happy about it...
