”Faithful In Suffering” | Andy Mason from REVIVE 2023

This is our Summer Series on Talks and Seminars from REVIVE, our annual festival bringing the churches of the network to a field in Canterbury for a weekend of Bible Teaching, Worship, and great fellowship together as churches. This is from Andy Mason on "Faithful In Suffering" If you have ever faced difficult things in your life, someone might have said – in an attempt to comfort you – that ‘God suffers with you’. But is this actually true, and is it a comfort? If it is true, what does it say about God – and us? In this seminar, we’ll be diving deep into theology and seeing how it connects in amazing and powerful ways with the struggles of our lives. Andy became a Christian as a teenager through the witness of a friend, and through reading a Gideon’s Bible. He’s married to Kathrine and has two children, Ori and Pella. He helped to plant St John’s Church Chelsea in 2006 and has been there ever since.
