Family Hustle

from This Little Parent Stayed Home · host Ally Loprete

We've talked about everything else. Time to make some money. There is just no other way around it. You need to start bringing in an income. But not just any income-- one that matches your hard work and value. You have the idea, but now you need to turn it into cash. You've bartered, you've sacrificed, you've made that leap into self-employment, but you need to see green, and you need to see it N.O.W. I just returned from Tory Johnson's Spark and Hustle Conference, and I am fired up! Forget the small talk, and lets get serious. What matters now is the TENACITY, the HUSTLE, and the MOOLAH. Its time for you to obtain the missing knowledge that is necessary to cut through the crap and conquer any road blocks you may have in your way. Money may not buy happiness, but it will buy you the freedom to make your own decisions and never have to report to another boss, other than yourself, again. Join me this week when I share with you what I learned about how to hustle and how to bring your strength of purpose directly to the bank. Yep, its time to get you some money. Excited to be introducing you to my Co-host for the week, Saralee Leary- who happens to have been my roommate at the Spark and Hustle conference last weekend. There's no better person to come on the show and help me share with you the magnitude of what every participant took away from this event. Also, not to be missed is our fantastic guest for the hour, Sarah L Cook from Raising CEO Kids, who has a giveaway for out listeners! A FREE CEO Kids T-Shirt. To enter, all you have to do is LIKE The Raising CEO KIDS Facebook Fanpage and leave a comment with “I want the Free T-Shirt”.

The Last Outlaws Impact Studios at UTS In a History Lab season like no other, we're pulling on the threads of one of Australia's great misunderstood histories, moving beyond the myths to learn what the Aboriginal brothers Jimmy and Joe Governor faced in both life and death.Australia's budding Federation is the background setting to this remarkable story, that sees the Governor brothers tied to the inauguration of a 'new' nation and Australia's dark history of frontier violence, racial injustice and the global trade and defilement of Aboriginal ancestral remains. This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
