Good morning and happy Friday friends! We have an important community discussion this morning, leading into an equally important event this Sunday. Our guests today are Pastor John Bell of Wesley UMC in Aurora, IL, Pastor Eric Dorsey of @Community Christian Church & Pastor Patrick Fish of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Aurora IL. This Sunday they will host a Pre-Trial Fairness Townhall at Society 57 from 2 to 5 pm. Here's the news: - Court Based Rental Assistance is still available for those in a court eviction proceeding due to non-payment. The non-payment is conditioned on financial hardship due to the pandemic. Eligible applicants may qualify for up to $25,000 in emergency rental payments. This program is open to anyone in the state and is not conditioned by county. For more information call The Neighbor Project or City of Aurora Financial Empowerment Center at (630) 906-9400 with any questions. #housing  - Please share what's important to you on the Community Survey by the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley and Dunham Foundation. This brief, anonymous survey will take you about 10 minutes and will help in our collective efforts to assess needs in our communty. The survey is available in english and spanish.
