We have news, I have coffee, so does Jenette. Let's get into this dear people. - Round 2 of the Illinois Rental Payment Program is open and accepting applications. Eligible households may qualify for up to 18 months of assistance from June 2020 through April 2022. The deadline for applications is Sunday, January 9th at midnight. At Java Plus on Waterford there will be a great musical event with salsa band Impacto Boricua! This will be a live event and will feature the tastiest thing you ever heard of; coquito eggnog lattes! Alto Granda puerto rican coffee will also be served. This event will be held from 6 to 8:30 pm. Come on out for dancing and coffee at Java Plus! #salsamusic - Tuesday the 21st there will be two great community events taking place locally. Our friends of VNA Health Care and The Neighbor Project will be providing health and housing resources with our wonderful local leaders. The first location will be New Community Baptist Church from 9 to 11 am. The 2nd location will be Main Baptist Church from 1 to 3 pm. No appointment is necessary!
