Zu ihrem 80. Jubiläum finden die Filmfestspiele in Venedig dieses Jahr mit der Anwesenheit deutlich weniger internationaler Filmstars statt als sonst. Denn noch immer streiken in Hollywood viele Drehbuchautorinnen und Autoren und Schauspieler und fordern von den Studios und Streamingdiensten bessere Bezahlung und eine strengere Regulierung von künstlicher Intelligenz. Katja Nicodemus ist Redakteurin im Feuilleton-Ressort bei DIE ZEIT und berichtet aus Venedig, welche Auswirkungen die Streiks in Hollywood auf die Veranstaltung haben. Die aktuelle finnische Regierungskoalition steht so weit rechts wie schon lange keine vor ihr.
