Frustration Equals Opportunity

It’s time for another daily takeaway with Dr. Buske.  Today he reminds us that frustration equals opportunity.  In talking with his wife last night he knew her energy wasn’t great and she was very frustrated.  When Dr. Buske asked if she wanted to sit down and talk about it she said not right now.  He reminded her not to stuff it down and hope it goes away, because it won’t.  He also told her that on the other side of her frustration there was opportunity.  For himself, Dr. Buske says there’s many times at the office that he can turn frustration into opportunity.  He asks himself how he can bring a different energy into the interaction.  If we just take the time to back up, take some deep breaths, think about it, and apply what we can in order to change the scenario and get the result that we want.
