Sanny has several theories about what happened with Isaac del Toro - did his battle with Ayuso lead to a hangover between him and the team?! Was Carapaz right to not work with the young Mexican and the man who couldn't sound any less like he's from Bury if he tried, finally cracks emotionally, as he cracks the rest of his GC competitors by riding away up the climb that had defined his own career when he lost the Giro to Chris Froome back in 2018. Tears after the finish line, a very muddled accent in the interviews and what work from Wout van Aert to get him there. Redemption all round.
