Glory Berlin #71 Arris (SoundUnbound Recordings)

from Glory Podcast Berlin · host GLORY 栄光

Glory Berlin is back (!) and starts 2022 with a guest mix by Arris [NL]. This episode is full of interesting electronica, many styles, substyles and cultures meeting each other; this selection comes clearly from an experienced selector and collector; taste all over the place; Arris is one of the two behind SoundUnbound and creates an eclectic and diverse mix for Glory Berlin, with subtitle "Okino Mafune". Enjoy ! The underground scene in the Dutch border town of Enschede is small but fanatical. Audiences dance between robots and play independent games on retro TVs and consoles in side rooms, while listening to a wide variety of music. The common aesthetic of the city's art, music and events is skewed, idiosyncratic, unfinished and politically engaged. SoundUnbound organizes performances and parties in the city and runs a label for artists from the area. Often they lead the parties from behind the turntables as DJs, always looking for new sounds and ideas, balancing on the tension between the dance floor and the ambition to take the music beyond the expected. https://soundcloud.com/user-910206226 https://soundunboundrecordings.bandcamp.com/ Tracklist: Fentom – Dismorphic Kypski - Clockworx (SparkUp x Taro Remix) Kooba Tercu – Puppy Pile Volga – Corn Poperttelli – JDTLM MG – Vervet Job Sifre – Mars Express Ali Phi – Enfeal Orfeon Gagarin - Instrumentos Básicos (Live Version) Kim Gordon - Get Yr Life Back King Champion Sounds – This, Mate Moon Relay - II
