Explores two fundamental attributes of God in Christian theology: transcendence and immanence. It explains that transcendence means God is above and beyond the created universe, not contained by space or time, and the cause of its existence rather than a part of it. Conversely, it defines immanence as God being present to all things, actively sustaining creation moment by moment, not as a distant watchmaker as in Deism or a being identical to the world as in pantheism.
