Today we talk to Puddin who has solo hiked over 8500 miles through the United States within 2 years. This impressive milage begun on a whim and acted as a method to find herself when she was so uncertain about the world and her surroundings. Who would have known that starting the Appalachian trail with almost no experience would lead to such an amazing adventure. We talked about how she made the decision to start this hiking journey and how its evolved into an ongoing through hike that has redefined her life. It was great talking with Puddin about this wild journey and the community shes built around it. At one point in the episode she tells us how she survived a terrible storm that ended up giving her severe hypothermia and ultimately put her trip on hold for a few days. The kindness of strangers helped her in this situation, along with many others, which helped restore her faith humanity. We end the episode by reflecting through it all and discussing what is next her.
