IS-EMERCAST Andrew Bezzina, Angus Bezzina Welcome to IS-EMERCAST!. This is the partner and supplement to Med from the SHED – that highly useful resource on the net for Emergency Clinicians in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven. The perennial problem with trying to provide educational resources to a broad geographical area and a disparate group of clinicians always stumps us. Here is part of the answer. This podcast allows easily accessible clinical education and perspectives with a local flavour for those of us working in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven. It is brought to you by the Emergency Medicine Education and Training Program under the Auspices of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and funded by the Commonwealth Government. Whilst all efforts are made to ensure content is appropriate and up to date, all information and perspectives are those of the presenters themselves and do not represent the position of ACEM or Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. On-The-Go Studio Megan Resig and Wade Richards Featured segments include: Jam Track, Resource Booth, On Mic, Songwriter's Corner, and In-Session Expository Thoughts on the Gospels - St. Mark by J. C. Ryle (1816 - 1900) LibriVox “Expository Thoughts” divides the Gospels into sections of about twelve verses each, from which J. C. Ryle selects two or three prominent points to dwell on and bring to the reader’s attention. In Ryle’s day, there were many detailed commentaries and expositions on scripture. In writing these “Expository Thoughts”, Ryle aimed to offer a resource to the laity for use in family prayers, as an aid to those who visit the sick and desire a proper book to read on such occasions, and for private devotions for those whose callings and engagements make it impossible for them to read large commentaries. This second volume of the work presents Rev. Ryle's meditations on St. Mark. As with the first volume on the Gospel of St. Matthew, Rev. Ryle offered this book “with an earnest prayer, that it may tend to the promotion of pure and undefiled religion, help to extend the knowledge of Christ, and be a humble instrument in aid of the glorious work of converting and edifying immortal souls.” (Introduc Expository Thoughts on the Gospels - St. Matthew by J.
