How I rest when I feel like I need to work

from Tuning In for Slow Living Creatives · host Megan Moran

For the full experience: watch Episode #1 of Recording on the Road here or read it here. Are we giving ourselves the thing we crave most? I’ve desperately needed rest lately. So I texted my mom to watch the kids, took to Airbnb, found a gorgeous rental and Collin and I hit the road to recharge. But once we got here… I started to struggle with what “counted” as rest. I was going against my impulse of how I wanted to spend this short time. Until I realized: Only I know what my body truly needs to refuel. And now I understand how to listen and accept that fluid definition of rest. ____________________________________________ Recording on the Road is a podcast series exploring Airbnbs and modern, minimalist (dreamily designed) spaces. Mixing my love for this podcast meets cinematic vlog video making with design, curiosity, creativity and family life, I record in these spaces, in addition to sharing their beautiful interiors, the places to visit around them and any behind the scenes of my DITL as a slow living mom entrepreneur. Follow along to see… where will we podcast from next? https://tuningin.substack.com/t/recording-on-the-road ____________________________________________ Special thanks to  @ChristianSchaffer  for suggesting MusicBed. I LOVED using it to find the music for this video. ____________________________________________ -- LET'S CONNECT About Me + Our Slow Living Mompreneur Community: https://tuningin.substack.com/about Tuning In for the Slow Living Mompreneur Podcast: https://tuningin.substack.com/podcast Our Creative Content Studio near Cleveland, OH: https://mompreneurco.com/ This is a public episode.
