Ian Jaydid – What Happens When We Take Control of Our Dreams

from Dream Power Radio · host Amazing Women and Men Of Power

We speak often on this show about the powerful effect dreams can have on our waking lives. They give us spectacular, sometimes scary images, epic stories and reflections that can give us guidance and insights. For a growing number of people they offer even more—an ability to control those nighttime thoughts. This is called lucid dreaming and it’s a technique that can be learned. Where do lucid dreams take you? What benefits can they bring you? We discuss this with my guest, Ian Jaydid, a lucid dreamer who has used his nighttime visitations to create books and artwork. Ian tells us:•what happened when he realized he had the ability to lucid dream•what lucid dreaming tells us about how we handle our daytime lives•how concentrating on a certain body part can help you enter the lucid dreaming world•why some people will never be able to have lucid dreamsIf you want to enter the realms that are available to you through lucid dreaming, you won’t want to miss this eye-opening episode of Dream Power Radio.Ian Jaydid, the creator of Iboga Moon Productions, is an artist, author, public speaker and researcher in the field of paranormal states of consciousness including lucid dreaming, astral projection and telepathy. Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
