The annual  I Am That Woman Retreat is an extraordinary experience that takes women through a powerful journey of learning and self-discovery. This process provides women with tools and resources to refine their next phase of life on their terms to live in their destiny. Twyler was inspired to launch the I Am That Woman retreat following an insightful moderated conversation at her birthday with a group of 43 close friends and family members, centered around the topics of womanhood, health and wellness, relationships, and spiritual well-being. This experience inspired Twyler to establish the I Am That Woman movement with the guidance and support of her network. Twyler has over 30 years of experience as a professional meeting and corporate event planner, which she states is the 6th most stressful job behind paramedics. After 15  years of dealing with the stresses of meeting planning, she felt it was time to pivot to improve her mental and emotional well-being.  Twyler emphasizes the importance of consistency, frequency, and intention when improving your mental and emotional health. This led her to transition the Retreat to a Movement to ensure her audience has multiple touchpoints and consistent, ongoing interactions while on their wellness journey. If you want to learn more about the I Am That Woman Movement and how to improve your mental and emotional well-being, this is the episode for you.Register for the I Am That Woman Movement Retreat this October 25- 29 by visiting  www.iamthatwomanmovement.org. IN THIS EPISODE, I TALK ABOUT…What was Twyler’s childhood like? What inspired Twyler to pivot from being a professional meeting planner to the CEO and Founder of the I am That Woman movement? What is the importance of a supportive network? When is the next retreat? What is one self-care practice that Twyler implements? What brings Twyler joy? Why do black businesses matter?Stream & Download Black Businesses Matter Podcast NOW for FREE on Apple Podcast, Google, Stitcher, Pandora, and Spotify! To connect further with me:Visit my website: Thel3agency.comConnect with me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/thel3agencyFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/larvettaspeaks/Connect with me on Linkedin: Support the showTo connect further with me:Visit my website: Thel3agency.comConnect with me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/thel3agencyFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/larvettaspeaks/Connect with me on Linkedin: www.linkedin.com/company/thel3agencyBe sure to follow our podcast on Instagram.
